Cinemuse wishes to provide exposure to all South Africans, being financially affluent, or poor. As we endeavour to enrich ourselves in the knowledge of the language of filmmaking, we will strive to share this knowledge with those less priveleged, and ensure that the knowledge gap does not continue to increase. Only together, our voices will create a unique South African cultural heritage.
ODWA "Mr.O" NOMAVUKA

Odwa, or Mr. O, as his known in his community, is a young filmmaker from Kayamandi, Stellenbosch. Odwa got involved with an educational centre in Kayamandi, called, Kuyasa some four years ago. He soon discovered his own passion for film, art and poetry, and started to assist in managing both the art and film project. Now he manages these projects and has helped more than a dozen teenagers from the community find purpose in producing documentaries and films about their lives and life as they know it.
Odwa recently made a short film and applied to City Varsity Cape Town to study film. They have accepted his application and also offered to pay his tuition fees. But now he still needs to cover his living costs for the first year and needs your help. Follow the below links to learn more about Odwa.
